The Ovalkwiki FAQ

You have questions? We have answers!

Q: I want to contribute. How do I do that? A: Become a Member. Click here, or use the "Join" link at the very top of the page.

Q: I'm a Member. What should I be doing now? A: Check out the Rules of Engagement, and the Style Guide.

Q: I already read the RoE and the Style Guide. Now what? A: Start writing! Is there something you know about the Schlockiverse that isn't listed here? Is there a character page for your favorite character yet? Don't be afraid to click the Edit button, and don't be afraid to link what you're writing to existing pages. If you make a mess there are Organizers who can clean it up.

Q: Are the John Ringo Troy Rising books canon? A: Finally, a TOUGH question! I wish those Ringo books were canon, but no, they're not. John and I haven't compared notes in three years. We've diverged. We'd need a nuclear shoehorn to make these things fit in the same, consistent space. Hopefully that doesn't ruin anybody's fun. If you want to create a section for "Reconciling Schlock Mercenary with Troy Rising" you have our blessing.

Q: I couldn't find an answer on this page. How do I ask a question? A: Use the "Discussion" tab on this page. Yes, you will need to be a member first.
